We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Regulatory Advocacy & Science Manager to lead the establishment of a new regulatory area within our Taste & Wellbeing business unit.
Your role will be crucial as we venture into this emerging area, and you will build the necessary structures and strategies to ensure compliance and foster innovation
You will report to the Head of T&W Regulatory Advocacy & Science and you will work onsite with a possibility to one day a week from home.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Identifying Regulatory Framework
Conduct comprehensive research to identify existing and emerging regulations that affect the industry.
Monitor changes in regulatory policies and assess their possible effects for our new initiatives
Establish Policy
Develop and implement regulatory procedures tailored to our new initiatives, ensuring agreement on our goals and industry standards.
Provide clear guidance on regulatory matters to team members, encouraging a strong understanding of compliance requirements.
Collaborate with regional teams to understand local regulatory requirements and ensure they align with our global strategies as we build this new area.
System implementation
Partner with the Regulatory Innovation team to help implement system adaptation and customer face documents that enhance regulatory efficiency in this new area.
Business needs
Active contribution and regional coordination to review ingredients for the development of the portfolio
Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that address regulatory challenges and support our product development efforts.
Enable communication between regional teams and the corporate office to coordinate responses to business requests related to regulatory issues in the sector.
Ensure timely and accurate responses to regulatory inquiries and help resolve compliance challenges.
Your professional profile includes:
Academic Background
University Degree (minimum Master) in a scientific field such as Food Science, Chemistry or related disciplines
Professional Experience
7-10 years of relevant regulatory experience in Pet Food
Knowledge of the pet food industry regulatory issues and trends, understanding of its customer regulatory requirements and market dynamics for pet food ingredients and flavourings
Technical Skills
Business Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages is a plus
Collaborate with teams and build relationships with partner
System proficiency, SAP experience is a plus
Project Management skills and priority setting
