The Senior Quality Analyst is a key member of the Quality team, playing an integral role within a broader group that includes the Supply Chain Analytics Hub across Driscoll’s Supply Chain. This position leads advanced data analytics and reporting on fruit quality across Driscoll’s of the Americas (DOTA), leveraging data mining, analysis, and interpretation to drive quality performance and strategic initiatives. The Senior Quality Analyst plays a key role in shaping long-term quality strategies and ensuring data accuracy for leadership decision-making. The role is responsible for the continuous improvement and strategic development of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Management Platform (QMP) by aligning system enhancements with evolving business needs. Additionally, the analyst identifies, monitors, and interprets quality trends from fruit inspection data and in-market insights, working closely with regional quality teams, audit teams, and other key stakeholders to proactively improve quality outcomes. This position leads quality project management efforts, overseeing short- and medium-term quality initiatives and collaborating across functions to implement data-driven operational improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides quality management with data analysis, market insights, and recommendations for corrective actions or improvements within berry categories and regions.
Delivers weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to the Quality System Manager, & other key stakeholders within Supply Chain ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
Leads system enhancement initiatives, including lower environment testing to improve efficiency, functionality and streamlining systems.
Ensures system updates align with evolving business needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Manages and leads short- and long-term quality projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and cross-functional teams.
Interprets quality trends from data, offering insights to optimize product quality, shelf life, and market trends.
Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, defect rates, and supply chain performance.
Collaborate closely with the analytics team across Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance quality performance.
Supports quality audit team with reporting and system enhancements for internal compliance metrics.
Develops and delivers a weekly quality narrative to the business summarizing current trends.
Identifies and escalates quality situations requiring attention, sourcing relevant quality data trends across managed platforms.
Collaborate with all business stakeholders to support quality improvements in data collection & organization.
Leads in training on quality systems, data analysis best practices, and compliance requirements to cross-functional teams including other business units.
Performs other duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree required with preferred emphasis on data analytics, statistics or agribusiness.
Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics supply chain experience preferred.
Advance proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience in supply chain systems.
Experience with business management and leadership experience preferred, including cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Spanish verbal and written capability is a plus.
Proven ability to design, execute, and interpret analytical projects, delivering actionable insights for decision-making.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong understanding of supply chain elements and functions.
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple work assignments, projects and daily tasks.
Ability to apply statistical problems, including, but not limited to, multivariate regression, data manipulation, statistical testing procedures, and results interpretation.
Valid California driver’s license, passport and the ability to travel internationally.
Requires 5%–10% domestic and potential international travel, as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range estimated for Position Here: $73,800 to $95,000 USD.
