The Site Compliance Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the facility operates in full compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, Maintenance activities, and Documents Control. This position oversees site compliance activities leads initiatives to align operations with IFF’s global standards and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
EH&S Compliance and Program Implementation
- Develops and implements EH&S policies aligned with IFF global and local regulatory standards.
- Serves as Safety Officer and Pollution Control Officer (PCO) for the site.
- Manages permits and certifications with BFP, DENR-EMB, PDEA, LLDA, DDB, and other agencies.
- Leads sustainability initiatives and risk reduction programs.
Site Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
- Ensures that site operations comply with all legal, corporate, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinates regulatory inspections and audits; prepares documentation and evidence of compliance.
- Stays updated on local compliance laws (e.g., labor, chemical, safety) and cascades updates to relevant teams.
- Maintains and updates a compliance calendar, ensuring timely renewal of all required permits and certifications.
- Supports corporate governance initiatives such as internal controls, policy enforcement, and ethical practices.
Facilities & Maintenance Oversight
- Supervises daily maintenance of the facility, including utilities, buildings, and equipment.
- Manages third-party contractors for maintenance services; ensures quality and safety.
- Proposes and leads improvement projects to enhance workplace safety and efficiency.
Document Control & Policy Management
- Acts as the site's Document Controller; reviews, updates, and files all operational and safety documentation.
- Maintains procedure version control and ensures document readiness for audits and inspections.
Audits, Training, & Continuous Improvement
- Conducts internal EHS and compliance audits and assists in external inspections.
- Coordinates resolution of audit findings through corrective and preventive action plans.
- Delivers EHS and compliance training across departments to reinforce adherence.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experiences in manufacturing operation.
- Working knowledge of EH&S, Maintenances and Documents control and Regulatory Adherence.
- Experienced in managing a production team
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
