The CPD’s role will be responsible for providing office-based admin support to the commercial sales team (Account Managers & team leaders) and provide a critical point of contact for both internal and external customers within the region.
The CPD’s role will be responsible for providing office-based admin support to the commercial sales team (Account Managers & team leaders) and provide a critical point of contact for both internal and external customers within the region. As part of the role, you will work hand in hand with your account managers and provide backup to the team when needed. This includes but not limited to: Sampling; Pricing; Quotations; Documentation; customer queries and questionnaires; Customer Master data Support & Maintenance; Project Management Support & maintenance and supporting the business sales goals set for the year.
To be successful in this role you must have experience in a sales support or a customer service-based role, be able to multi-task with and work with various divisions, ideally within a multinational company & in a fast-paced environment. You will be accountable for work performance and set a positive example for other members of your team. You will need to demonstrate solid administrative and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy, creative and innovative thinking. The ability to find solutions to problems and make quick decisions within defined control guidelines. To achieve strong stakeholder relationships and desired work results, you will have to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills as well as be customer focused and ensure that all queries are responded to within established guidelines and standards.
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 (Must Have)
- Tertiary education (Preferred)
- Min 5 years experience in customer service or similar position (Must have)
- Background or experience in a flavour company or FMCG (preferred)
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of SAP Systems
- Knowledge of Sales Force.Com (Preferred)
- Ability to Prioritise, Multi-task & interact with multiple teams on various levels.
- Good interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills (English)
- Good problem solving skills & the ability to use initiative.
- Strong accuracy & attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Results Orientated with strong customer focus.
- Flexible, adaptable & ability to manages pressure
