About the Role: We’re a fast-growing startup focussing on development and supply of healthy lipid-based solutions. As we are scaling rapidly, we’re looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to build, execute and optimize our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Planning:
o Manage planning processes with third-party contract manufacturers, aligning demand forecasts with production and inventory
o Sourcing & Purchasing Execution
o Execute procurement strategies, and manage purchasing workflows
o Process and System Development
o Develop and Implement scalable processes and systems to support growth. Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
o Organizational Development
o Contribute to the Organizational Development under the guidance of the COO.
- Order Fulfillment & Customer Service:
o Manage order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and high service levels
o Transportation & Logistics
o Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, optimize carrier performance, and reduce costs.
What You'll Bring:
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food industry
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and build operational areas from scratch
- Hands-on approach
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and supply chain analytics tools
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency in verbal and written English
- Ideally: Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) to automate workflows and analyze data
