Fermata is looking for an experienced Sales and Business Development professional with a proven sales experience in Agriculture sphere.
You will take ownership of expanding Fermata’s presence in key markets, building partnerships, and driving revenue growth across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Fermata’s sales strategy across target European markets.
Identify and close new business opportunities with growers, greenhouse operators, distributors and AgTech partners.
Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation and presentations to negotiation and account management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the agriculture and greenhouse ecosystem.
Communicate Fermata’s technology capabilities clearly and translate them into business value for customers.
Provide market insights to support product and business development.
Requirements
Strong sales experience in the agricultural industry, ideally with growers, greenhouse operators or agri-distributors.
Established network and sales experience across European agricultural markets.
Proven ability to sell technology solutions (AgTech, hardware/software, computer vision, AI, automation, any relevant tech).
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Based in Europe (preferably the Netherlands)
Nice to have
Experience specifically in AgTech or agronomy-focused technology solutions.
Background with computer vision, AI, automation or digital agriculture platforms.
Understanding of agricultural production ecosystems (greenhouses, seed producers, distributors, crop protection, etc.).
Additional languages.
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-moving, scaling startup environment.
