We are seeking a Plant Cost Analyst to join our Budapest Global Shared Services team. In this role, you will provide critical financial insights to plant leadership, analyze product and production costs, coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, and support productivity and performance improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in strengthening standard costing, enhancing internal controls, and contributing to global cost analysis projects, while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Provide financial support to Plant Managers and local leadership, contributing to accurate decision‑making.
- Analyze product cost development, unit cost evolution, and plant productivity to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process for the plant, focusing on cost structures, capacity, and impact on final product costs.
- Lead monthly production cost variance forecasting in close collaboration with plant leadership.
- Maintain and strengthen the standard costing framework, ensuring proper governance of Material Master data.
- Develop, implement, and communicate KPIs that clearly reflect plant performance, delivering monthly reporting using global tools and plant‑specific analyses.
- Support the monthly Integrated Operations Review and assist in achieving plant productivity targets.
- Uphold a strong internal control environment and contribute to global projects within the Plant Cost Analysis organization, including process and IT tool improvements.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- 2–3 years of plant controlling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and operational impacts.
- Experience in implementing or improving financial and operational processes.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP, Business Warehouse, and advanced Office applications.
- Knowledge of standard costing environments and cost governance frameworks.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- High level of integrity and commitment to internal controls and business ethics.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and a drive for results.
