The Miguel Institute Recruits a Lateral Project Manager / PMO Manager π£
The Miguel Institute, as part of Tel Hai-Kiryat Shmona University and the Galilee, has been expanding its activities in recent years in projects and programs to promote economic and regional growth in the Galilee. The Institute is a partner in the implementation of government decisions, working with government ministries, funding bodies, and academic and public partners.
In light of the increase in the scope and complexity of the activity, the Institute is recruiting a PMO (Project Management Office) β a staff position responsible for managing broad projects, coordination, control and transparency of all projects and programs in the organization. Connecting strategy and execution, through the determination of work methods, control, and lateral managerial reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
β
Lateral management of all projects, programs, and grants at the Institute, while creating a "big picture" of status, budgets, and schedules.
β
Ongoing monitoring of the identification, submission and execution of calls for proposals.
β
Coordinating, controlling and submitting periodic performance reports to funding bodies, while ensuring full compliance with the prerequisites and regulations.
β
Formulate and implement management tools, standards, and work methods for project control.
β
Identifying cross-organizational barriers, monitoring meeting goals, and building management reports for the Institute's management.
β
Ongoing work with the Institute's units and external entities (government ministries and partners).
Job requirements:
βοΈAt least two years of experience in managing complex projects and/or programs.
βοΈ Familiarity with and experience working with government bodies, including experience in submitting calls for proposals and passing support tests.
βοΈ Proven experience in writing and submitting performance reports and budget control.
βοΈ Ability to lead lateral processes and high orientation to order and precision.
βοΈ High command of project management and control tools (Mondays, etc.).
βοΈ Relevant academic degree (Industry and Management / Economics / Business Administration).
