The Business Development Unit at the Miguel Research Institute is required: ð¢
Collaboration Manager -
The position has 3 main components: business development, intellectual property, marketing and public relations.
Job Description:
ð Business Development:
· Locating, creating and maintaining relationships with external entities and potential industry partners in Israel and around the world, in accordance with the goals of the business unit at the Miguel Research Institute.
· Working with researchers on projects with commercialization potential â from the stage of identifying the potential, registering intellectual property, to the stage of executing the project.
· Writing business plans and market surveys â while constantly learning and identifying trends in Israel and around the world.
· Accompanying projects vis-à -vis the Innovation Authority and other funding bodies â monitoring and monitoring implementation according to work plans.
ð¡ Intellectual Property
· Administrative coordination of the patent field â monitoring schedules, control of payments and documentation.
· Coordinating and formulating recommendations for making decisions relating to intellectual property.
ðMarketing & Public Relations
· Responsibility for the website and social media â collecting and presenting information in accordance with the Institute's marketing strategy.
· Organizing and producing conferences, hosting groups and investors.
· Presentation of projects â preparing the materials, processing them and presenting them in various forums.
Job Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to work in a team.
- The ability to convey a message, and stand in front of a high-level audience.
- Motivation, big head, determination and independent learning â mandatory.
- Experience in accompanying projects in the fields of life sciences â an advantage
- Academic education in relevant fields â science/law/economics/business â an advantage.
- English at a very high level - mandatory.
Scope of Position: Full-time, at Miguel's offices in Kiryat Shmona.
Working in a business development team and subordinate to the VP of Business Development.
