Job Summary
Under full or limited supervision, perform warehouse duties. Upon the need of the business to perform additional related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintains quality service by following organization standards at alllevels, andactivelyparticipating.
Mustdemonstrateintegrity while performing duties as percompany’sCode of Conduct.
Unload trucks – using forklift truck for boxes as well as occasional use of hand truck.
Verify correct product, quantity, appearance, and any special instruction the customer may have for their orders.
Daily communication with department WarehouseLeadpertaining toreceiving and shipping orders.
Must be able to work in a team environment and perform area housekeeping responsibilities.
Follow all standard operating processes, looking for and responding effectively to hazards in safety, health, security, and environment, taking account of people,plant,communityand procedures.
Properly storeand retrieve raw materials in warehouse, storage areas, and in proper locations.
Assistswith performing cycle counts.
Complieswithfederal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shippingrequirements asestablishedby management.
Assist with the Product labeling process by attaching labels to containers.
Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate changing work schedules and departmentmanpowershortages.
Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:
This positionqualitydriven, andrequires a person who can think and act with minimal supervision. The person needs to be organized and detail oriented. A person who canidentifyproblems while adhering to all policies surrounding the general and dailywork flow. They must have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and work as a team with fellow employees and members of the management.
Education/Experience (minimumrequirements/equivalent):
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: May involve moderate to heavy work in all types of weather.There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actionsduring the course ofthe workday.IFF promotes a drug/alcohol free work environmentthrough the use ofmandatory pre-employment drug testing.
