As DSD & Local Assistant, you'll provide administrative and operational support to suppliers as well as to the DSD & Local Assortment Manager, contributing to the department's goals and the organization's efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Assortment and pricing management: assist with the commercial management of the assortment, including requesting samples and quotes, preparing meetings, managing price changes, and providing accurate information during product launches
- Administrative support: manage daily administrative tasks such as correspondence, reports, store requests, and supplier communication; coordinate the full administrative process from contract signing, vendor and product creation, through to communication with stores, ensuring effective follow-up on various files
- Product and supplier registration: ensure accurate registration of new products, suppliers, and price changes in collaboration with Master Data, Data Quality, and other involved teams, so all stakeholders have accurate information
- Vendor onboarding and training: support suppliers during onboarding and in using the Vendor Portal/DIAMS, in collaboration with relevant departments
- Communication management: collect and process supplier data and system information for communications about new suppliers, products, and catalogs; ensure timely, accurate, and clear communication to stores in collaboration with the communications team
- Analysis and reporting: develop analyses and reports, identify discrepancies, and assist in preparing business reviews
- Point of contact: act as a contact person for questions related to product data and ensure accurate, timely follow-up
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent by experience) with 6-12 months of relevant professional experience
- Experience with SAP and Power BI is an asset
- Good command of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in French and Dutch
- Good communication skills
- Able to maintain a strong overview
