Job Description
As a Project Manager Junior, you'll be at the heart of that momentum: coordinating cross-functional teams and driving our most ambitious projects from idea to shelf.
Key Responsibilities
- Team coordination: Assign team members from across departments and ensure clear, efficient communication and follow-up with all stakeholders, in a cross-functional management capacity.
- Planning & milestones: Build the project timeline, define and monitor critical milestones, and follow up on progress across all departments to ensure on-time delivery, in line with quality/cost/timing requirements.
- Reporting & gap analysis: Produce clear reporting, projections, and gap analyses to keep stakeholders aligned, and prepare milestone reviews for the Innovation Committee.
- Project reviews: Run regular cross-functional reviews to track progress and clear roadblocks fast.
- Risk management & decision-making: Lead risk analysis with your teams, align on mitigation actions, and drive fast, sound decision-making when challenges arise.
- Cost & resource management: Run cost simulations, manage budgets, and coordinate with co-manufacturers (COMANs) on investment studies — assessing required capex, evaluating impact on project P&L, and following up on equipment/machine installation planning.
- Execution & documentation: Ensure operational tasks are delivered on time, with clear documentation for compliance and team clarity.
Types of Projects You'll Manage
- Low complexity: Packaging/artwork changes (text, logo, ingredient list), listing new customers.
- Medium complexity: Recipe or ingredient changes, onboarding a new raw material or packaging supplier, extending an existing product to a new export market.
- High complexity: New product launches (from concept to industrial rollout) or product renovations, starting up a new co-manufacturer or factory.
Reporting Line
This role reports to the Projects Lead Manager within the Operations team.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Success is measured by adherence to the cost / quality / timing triptych across the project portfolio.
- 0 to 2 years of experience, Master's degree (Bac+5) — suited to a junior profile, typically a recent graduate (engineering school, business school, or a dual-competency background).
- You like solving problems and you can skills mediate disagreements and negotiate resolutions
- You have a strong leadership with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats (for presentations and reporting).
- You have high levels of organization, autonomy, and proactive problem-solving.
- You have qualities like empathy, curiosity, and openness, tenacity, adaptability, and a drive to meet deadlines under pressure.
- You share enthusiasm for plant-based alternatives and the drive to contribute to a growing industry !
- You are fluent in both French and English (it's our internal language at La Vie !)
Recruitment Process
