What will you do?

Analyse financial results and deliver actionable insights to support management decisions.

Play a lead role in cash flow management, ensuring robust liquidity planning and oversight.

Lead financial/accounting team.

Drive monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes.

Lead the financial/accounting team and controlling processes.

Oversee accounting processes.

Implement and manage controlling systems (cost centre structures, margin analyses, cash flow monitoring).

Assist the CEO in managing the strategic capital structure and fundraising initiatives.

Monitor business performance with tracking tools and establish corrective actions as needed.

Analyse production and operations to assess performance based on industry benchmarks.

Participate in all sales-related cost and ROI calculations.

What do you need?

5-7 years of experience in finance (leadership role)

Specific expertise in accounting and financial planning, ideally with auditing experience.

Startup or scale-up experience required, with a deep understanding of cash management challenges and the need for agility and strategic thinking in resource-constrained environments.

Pragmatic, execution-focused, and able to see the big picture quickly.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on building structure.

Background in (international) finance, accounting, controlling, and/or investment.

Leadership experience - complex projects and teams.

Fluent English.

Nice to have

Experience in the food sector, preferably in a company dealing with physical products (CPG, FMCG, or food manufacturing), with an understanding of the unique financial dynamics of food startups, including inventory, supply chain variability, pricing strategies, and margin management.
