Position Overview – Director of Food and Beverage
F&B Director is a position whose responsibilities include but are not limited to managing day-to-day operations of service, hospitality, food quality, guest satisfaction, money handling, inventory, events and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests and employees.
You are responsible for the overall satisfaction of our guests visiting our onsite Food
and Beverage operations, while simultaneously managing employee relations. The F&B Manager is responsible for developing a comprehensive knowledge of all front of house responsibilities while working a variety of shifts to perform all of these skills as assigned.
You will oversee the Assistant F&B Manager who is responsible for selling and planning member and private events as well as working with the F&B team to execute these events.
Responsibilities:
• Hands-on leadership from check-in to food service and daily operations oversight
Oversee food and beverage across The Club- Lakeside 54, Taproom, Paddlebacks, The Summit Food Truck, Bear N Bean and Private or Member Events, to ensure maximum profits and guest experiences are achieved
Maintain the highest standard of service and quality which includes food production, equipment use and control, banquet service, beverage service, restaurant service and food and beverage purchasing
Lead, mentor, and train the Food & Beverage operations team
Implement and monitor ordering and receiving program to ensure proper quantity and prices on all purchases
Act as an ambassador for THG and provide leadership and planning to all F&B Outlet departments to support our service culture, maximize operations and guest satisfaction
Provide unique guest services that are above and beyond to create memorable experiences and guest retention
Work with Club Director, Assistant F&B Manager, Bar Manager, Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef to design seasonal menus and bar packages that will increase revenue.
You will oversee the ordering of food & beverage supplies and inventory of the Club (Ex: Dry products, CO2)
Work with Bar Manager/Mixologist and Bartenders on specialty cocktails for members and private events to increase revenue and encourage and fun and inviting atmosphere.
Overseeing monthly inventory with Lake Club Director & Assistant F&B Manager
Meetings :
• Daily BLR Scrum- Monday - Friday - 9:30-9:45am
Weekly BLR BEO Meeting – Wednesdays at 11am
Monthly Managers Meeting – 1st Wednesday of the month – 10am-11:30am
Monthly Homeowner’s Luncheon – Last Friday of the month
Attend booked client planning meetings as needed
Attend potential new client site tours as scheduled
Attend team training sessions
Schedule:
• This is full-time position that will require you to be on site at BLR 5 days a week.
There will be days that allow for remote hours depending on the needs of the business.
Schedule requests will be submitted to management and approved on a first come first serve basis dependent upon the needs of the business. If you would like to request PTO, please submit a request through Rippling minimum 90 days prior or as soon as possible.
