At Nature’s Path, we believe in the snack trifecta: great taste, great quality, and great impact for the community and planet. We’re looking for an Associate Brand Manager, Snacking in Oak Brook to help fuel our snacking business — someone who knows their way around the commercialization process and data analysis, but also isn’t afraid to pitch a new idea in a team meeting.
This is not your typical CPG gig.
You’ll be in the passenger seat working hand-in-hand with the brand manager, on a wild ride to launch a new brand in the US. Get ready to roll-up your sleeves and get your hands into all kinds of projects — from consumer testing, recipe development, and packaging design to direct exposure with senior leadership as we invest in new capabilities and future innovation. You’ll be learning fast, thinking smart, and turning insights into action.
We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions and have an opinion. The Associate Brand Manager, Snacking will need to be able to connect dots quickly between key people, data points, and processes, to support the brand manager as they build strategic growth plans, pitch to major retailers, and story-tell to consumers.
Our launch ambitions are big, so your appetite for jumping in, owning projects and driving impact needs to be too!
What You’ll Do:
Execute brand plan activities around key growth pillars:
Deliver innovation & pipeline development through consumer testing, new product development, and capability investment
Action go-to-market plans from monitoring market dynamics and building retailers decks, to supporting launch campaigns and in-store display creation
Foster consumer & customer connections by leading in-store and online brand partnerships and owned channels creative (upcoming photoshoot, website & social revamp, and influencer program)
Drive forward renovation activities through graphics & claim testing, P&L analysis, and packaging transitions
Get chatty! Collaborate with cross-functional partners from project managers, insights partners, packaging engineers, sales partners and agency leads, to bring forward updates, insights and ‘so what?’ recommendations to the brand manager and executive leadership team.
Dive into data to ensure the brand manager always has the latest pulse on in-market performance, category trends, consumer behaviors and P&L health to guide decisions and spot new opportunities
Translate big ideas and strategic recommendations into easy to understand, actionable steps in presentations and meetings. Communicating clearly what needs to be done and when, is just as important as defining it and doing it!
What You Bring:
3–4 years in brand management or CPG marketing
Proactive, deadline-driven, and always asking questions to be able to think two steps ahead
Strong analytical chops and the ability to synthesize info fast (and share it with your colleagues)
Exceptional listener, clear communicator, and low-key organizational ninja
PowerPoint wizardry
Experience with Nielsen, SPINS, and consumer testing (flavors, claims, packaging)
The 411:
This hybrid role is based in Oak Brook with three days in the office
This opportunity will pay a base salary between $95,000 - $125,000 with a 10% bonus. Company perks like our Get Fit program (stipend of $500/year), professional development (class, training, conferences), and endless snacks
