Executes and contributes to the fragrance design and creation process of fragrances by providing compliant physical formulas that meet project and customer requirements and by ensuring correct administrative management of ingredients, documentation and equipment..
70% - Weighs fragrances according to perfumer recipe: raw material preparation, introduction in line with good manufacturing practices, use of tracking bar code, conditioning, and labelling.-Performs simple calculations related to formula quantities.-Produces oil reference samples which are used as first quality control reference for productions.-Demonstrates a working knowledge of chemical and safety protocols when handling different (harmful) materials.20% - Utilizes best practices (e.g. heating, handling of powders, etc.) to prepare the first application of neat perfumer oils which are used for internal evaluations. - Fills requested quantities and sample orders for perfume samples from stock and sample production.- Collects and delivers sufficient quantities of fragrance oil per sample request to the sample Application Lab.- Completes the administrative processing of completed work.- Completes administrative processing of performed work.5% - Manages raw materials collection in accordance with good laboratory practices including labeling, respect of shelf life, replenishment orders, and contamination prevention.5% - Performs laboratory duties which include maintenance of equipment, housekeeping, and shortage prevention.Demonstrates understanding of SHE and sustainability rules as it applies to this role.Requirements: High School or technical degree or equivalent 0 -1-year experience (e.g., internships). - Chemical and/or technical backgroundSkills:- Detail oriented- Working Microsoft Office knowledge- Working knowledge of automated systems and computer task management tools - Written and Oral Communication- Able to read English- Safety Best Practices: People Product and Equipment
