What we are looking for
Nūmi is looking for two junior profiles to join our team: one in the Cell Biology squad, and one in the Bioprocess squad. Feel free to indicate your preference in your application. We are seeking curious and motivated individuals with a strong interest in cell biology, cell culture, microscopy, and flow cytometry. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency of our experimental workflow and contributing to our lab life.
Key Responsibilities
🧪Conducting cell culture experiments: You will be learning and helping senior cell scientists on various cell culture experiments.
🔬Using cell and molecular biology Techniques: You will apply a range of cell and molecular biology techniques, such as RT-qPCR, immuno-histochemistry, western blot and flow cytometry.
🧫 Routine maintenance of cell cultures: You will assist with routine maintenance of cell cultures, including feeding, passaging, viability assessments, and data logging.
🧪 Bioreactor operations: You will support bioreactor runs and monitor bioreactor parameters (pH, DO, temperature, agitation, etc.), collect time-point samples, and perform basic analytical assays.
👩🏻💻Documentation and reporting: You will document experimental procedures, observations to ensure data integrity and traceability and prepare comprehensive reports that convey experimental findings, progress, and potential areas for improvement.

Requirements
- Master/Engineering Degree in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, biological engineering, or other life science discipline. Ideally, you have previous experience in cell culture showcasing your ability to learn and adapt protocols effectively.
- Currently enrolled in a School/University in which the internship is part of the curriculum (has access to "Convention de Stage".
- Capacity to fully understand and exert critical thinking over scientific research papers
- Excellent Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
