Triplebar is on a mission to learn the language of biology using generative AI. We’re building cutting-edge large language models trained directly on millions of genomes, powered by the largest biological data engine on Earth. Our hyperthroughput platform evolves and screens biology at unprecedented scale, generating the data needed to teach machines how to design cells that can make anything.
We call this Evolutionary Intelligence: a new way to engineer biology, grounded in real data and aimed at solving the toughest problems in industrial biotech. One of our biggest ambitions is to reinvent CHO cell engineering for biologics production. We believe the biopharma industry needs a new generation of CHO cells that produce more protein and cut development time dramatically.
We’re looking for a Research Associate to join our team and help drive the development of our high-throughput CHO platform. In this role, you’ll work directly with mammalian cells in screening and culture workflows, helping us generate the critical data that powers our AI models. You’ll be responsible for executing experiments, maintaining cell cultures, and supporting high-throughput workflows that link genotype to protein expression.
You’ll work side by side with a cross-disciplinary team across automation, genome engineering, and machine learning. If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about hands-on science, and ready to be part of a team moving fast to build something transformative, we want to meet you.
Your Contributions
Manage and operate the hyperthroughput screening pipeline for CHO: operate microfluidics platform for screening of 10Ms of CHO cell lines expressing diverse biologics, library generation, and recovery of improved variants
Manage the cell line operations for our CHO program:
Lab scale validation of improved enriched pools and cell lines, including microtiter plate and shake flask cultivation and assaying
Clonal isolations from enriched pools from the hyperthroughput screening
Plate model development and implementation
Next generation sequencing preparation and execution
Work closely with genome language model team to infuse data into Triplebar models
Work closely with assay development scientists to continue to optimize and operationalize our screening platform and connection of screening data to genome language model training.
