The Sr. Quality Assurance & Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and managing the established QA/QC and regulatory compliance programs at BodyHealth. This role ensures that our finished goods meet FDA and FTC requirements, warehouse storage standards, and internal quality processes.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that will oversee quality and compliance activities such as product release, retains management, RMA restocking checks, and regulatory review of labels and marketing content. The ideal candidate has experience in dietary supplements, food, or consumer packaged goods quality and regulatory affairs and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day quality assurance processes for finished goods in warehouse storage and distribution.
Oversee retains program: collection, documentation, and traceability of product samples.
Review and approve incoming finished goods for release into inventory.
Ensure quality control for RMA restocking before items are returned to stock.
Conduct label compliance reviews for all new and updated product labels (ingredient statements, claims, allergen disclosures, DSHEA requirements).
Review marketing and educational content (blogs, website, promotional materials) for compliance with FDA and FTC regulations.
Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Product Development, Operations) to provide guidance on compliant product claims and communications.
Maintain compliance documentation and support internal/external audits or inspections.
Provide regulatory training and guidance to staff as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, regulatory, or related field preferred.
3–5+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or regulatory compliance within dietary supplements, food, or consumer packaged goods.
Strong working knowledge of:
FDA dietary supplement regulations (21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 101 for labeling)
FTC advertising guidelines
Demonstrated ability to review and approve labels, claims, and marketing content for compliance.
Experience managing QA processes for finished goods in warehouse/distribution environments.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical compliance guidance to cross-functional teams.
