Where You’ll Make a Difference:
- Execute the processes and procedures required for the daily operation of import, export, and local distribution orders.
- Understand and apply the fundamentals of imports and exports, as well as local regulations and IFF standards.
- Maintain effective communication with the customs broker, ocean carrier, airlines, freight forwarders, and all stakeholders involved in the cargo release process.
- Communicate product delivery information to relevant areas using the appropriate tools and procedures.
- Monitor the import/export process from start to finish, including requesting shipment of available materials, international transportation, customs clearance, and warehouse arrival.
- Receive and thoroughly review import documentation sent by suppliers, ensuring there are no discrepancies and, if necessary, coordinate changes with the appropriate parties before the goods arrive.
- Maintain a well-monitored process that allows for quick response to any issues affecting operations.
- Track metrics and take action to improve them.
- Assist in resolving supply chain issues. Review invoices and follow up on payments to suppliers related to import, export, warehousing, and distribution (transportation) operations.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain or related fields such as international trade, logistics, or business administration.
- Proficiency in automated systems (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.).
- Intermediate business English communication skills.
How Would You Stand Out?
- Professional degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields.
- Training in SAP, APO, or ERP systems in functional specialization areas.
