Position Summary
The Director of Finance – FP&A is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role also oversees POV responsibilities, managing profitability optimization and supporting investment and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial activities related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all entities.
Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with operational goals.
Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify key trends, cost-saving opportunities, and performance drivers, including labor, supply chain, COGS, and other operational expenses.
Develop POV analyses for new products, distribution channels, and strategic initiatives to optimize profitability.
Monitor profitability drivers and recommend actions to improve company performance.
Develop, monitor, and update CAPEX plans to support strategic investment priorities and liquidity requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for management, headquarters in Korea, and external stakeholders.
Generate internal financial analyses, P&L allocation, and summary reports to support decision-making.
Provide feasibility analyses for investment proposals as needed.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement long-term strategies supporting growth and operational goals.
Manage, coach, and develop the finance team to enhance performance and professional growth.
Work closely with Accounting dept on financial reporting and consolidation processes.
Maintain and improve business processes, financial policies, and corporate governance standards.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and limits of authority.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred
5+ years in financial management. Manufacturing/CPG experience is preferred but not required
Strong analytical skills, financial systems knowledge, and advanced Excel proficiency
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques
Proficiency in ERP systems for financial planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PPT with advanced skilled in Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain financial concepts clearly
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strategic thinking and profitability optimization
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in Korean required
