ML Engineer | CropSight
Israeli AgTech startup using deep learning and multi-source data streams to forecast crop yields for key players in agricultural commodity markets. We're progressing from proof of concept to commercial scale - now we're bringing on an engineer to help scale and further push our capabilities.
You'll be our first ML engineering hire, working directly with our CTO on building and optimizing production ML pipelines. You'll focus on feature engineering, model integration, data processing, and backend systems that power our predictions.
Requirements:
• 5+ years developing ML systems and pipelines
• Strong Python and PyTorch (experience with other ML frameworks is a plus)
• Deep learning and neural networks background
• Experience with feature engineering and model validation
• Backend development: APIs, data pipelines, databases
• Experience with large-scale data operations and management
• Startup mentality - hands-on, resourceful, ready to build
Advantage:
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, CI/CD, cloud platforms)
• Experience with geospatial or satellite data
Based in Israel, hybrid/remote flexible.
