POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Foodservice Sales Manager to drive growth and expansion in the food service segment for our plant-based meat analogue business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities within the food service industry.
The candidate would be expected to work across channels (B2B, QSR and HoReCa), with Bidfood and Brakes as focus customers.

Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets, and commission targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with food service operators, current Bidfood and Brakes customers, business to business/ingredients customers within the food service sector.
Engaging with Bidfood and Brakes sales teams and customers and educating them on plant-based products and the key drivers for consumers/customers switching into plant based.
Ensuring effective integration & communication with cross-functional teams - customer operational teams in Bidfood, Brakes, LKC Key accounts as well as with LKC Customer Marketing and Marketing team.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and competitor intel and customer preferences within the food service industry.
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and cook up demonstrations to showcase the products.
Negotiate pricing with potential customers, and work with the LKC Bidfood and Brakes Account Managers and Bidfood & Brakes to maximize profitability and drive sustainable business growth.
Provide ongoing account management and support to new customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to optimize sales effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and foster business relationships within the food service community.
Stay informed about industry regulations, food service trends, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.
Achieve and maintain excellent, long-term relationships with the company's customers, ensuring continuity and satisfaction
Establish and lead a well-functioning sales organization that aligns with the values and higher purpose of the Livekindly Collective.
Drive new sales and market expansion initiatives, including both domestic and international efforts.
Manage and approve strategic investments within established budget frameworks, ensuring alignment with company goals.
REQUIREMENTS - Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
3-5 years' experience in Sales roles includes managing complex and/or significant customer relationships.
Highly interactive with holistic mindset; collaborate across all levels in the organization, and with external partners and business stakeholders.
Energetic team player with strong prioritization, time management, and project planning skills.
Strong analytical skills, business knowledge and commercial awareness.
Able to bring a practical view to solve the most complex problems.
Passion for transforming the global food system into a sustainable one.
Strong understanding of food service channels, including restaurants, food chains, institutional catering, and hospitality, with knowledge of distribution dynamics and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the benefits of plant-based meat analogues to diverse audiences.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainability, culinary innovation, and customer service excellence.
Ability to travel as and when needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
Relationship and emotional intelligence (EQ)

Demonstrated experience working with global, remote teams.
Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
