About the role
We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on marketer to help grow one of the most exciting challenger brands in the plant-based category. This role offers a rare opportunity to take real ownership of marketing within a fast-moving challenger brand, with the freedom to shape campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives.
As Marketing Manager, you will manage a small marketing team while working closely with the sales, product and leadership teams to deliver marketing campaigns across retail, foodservice and digital channels.
This is a broad and varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and wants to gain experience across all areas of marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing leadership
- Manage and support the marketing team, including a Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer.
- Coordinate external agencies and freelancers to deliver marketing initiatives.
- Lead regular marketing meetings and ensure projects are delivered on time.
Brand management & strategy
- Help shape and execute the Moving Mountains marketing strategy and annual brand plan.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across campaigns, packaging and communications.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, launches and brand initiatives.
Campaigns & activations
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across retail, foodservice and digital channels.
- Support product launches including packaging input, messaging and campaign development.
- Organise and manage brand activations such as trade shows, events and influencer collaborations.
Digital marketing & content
- Manage relationships with social media, Amazon and PR agencies.
- Oversee social media strategy and LinkedIn content planning.
- Support website updates and development through WordPress.
- Manage CRM campaigns using Klaviyo.
Sales & product collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team to develop marketing materials, pitch decks and retail support assets.
- Collaborate with the product team on new product launches and packaging development.
- Ensure brand consistency across retailer and partner platforms.
Insights & performance
- Track marketing spend and manage the marketing budget effectively.
- Use market research, consumer insights and campaign analytics to inform decision making.
- Measure campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness.
AI & Modern Marketing Tools
- Use AI tools to support content creation, campaign ideation and marketing workflows.
- Apply AI-driven insights to support market research, segmentation and campaign optimisation.
- Identify opportunities to automate marketing processes and improve team productivity.
Skills & Experience
Required
- Strong understanding of marketing across B2B, B2C and digital channels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Creative thinker with the ability to contribute campaign ideas
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or SME environment
- Degree in Marketing or related field
Preferred
- 3+ years experience in FMCG or consumer brand marketing
- Experience working with retailers or foodservice brands
- Experience managing agencies or freelancers
- Familiarity with tools such as WordPress, Klaviyo, Canva or marketing analytics tools
- Basic design understanding (Adobe or similar)
- Experience working with international markets or D2C businesses

Salary
£36,000 per year
Location & Working
Location: Shoreditch, London
Working pattern: Hybrid working (3 office days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (flexible working available)
