This is an applied and research role, combining a deep understanding of raw materials with the development of practical uses in food products.
The role involves working as part of an international project with leading partners from the food industry, and requires the ability to translate a new raw material into a technological, applied, and product understanding.
Responsibilities:
✔️ Research and characterization of new raw materials, including sensory, functional and technological properties.
✔️ Examination of the behavior of the raw material in different formulations, processing processes and conditions of use.
✔️ Understanding the contribution of the raw material to taste, texture, binding, juiciness, mouthfeel or other functionality.
✔️ Planning and conducting applied food experiments to define the most suitable uses.
✔️ Formulating practical recommendations for how to work with the raw material and integrate it into products.
✔️ Working with internal teams and external partners as part of an international applied project in the food sector.
