Your role
We’re looking for a strategic and highly analytical Demand Planner (all genders) to support our forecasting efforts. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the force behind our demand planning, translating complex data into precise forecasts that optimize inventory, support strategic growth, and ensure our business runs smoothly. If you’re a natural leader who thrives on turning insights into action and loves building collaborative, data-driven processes, you’ll be a perfect fit.
What you’ll do
- Business Acumen: Develop and maintain sophisticated demand forecasts, leveraging statistical models and market intelligence. This requires a deep understanding of market trends, competition, and how our business operates.
- Collaboration: Partner across the organization with sales, marketing, and finance to gather critical business inputs for a unified forecast. Build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse teams to ensure all plans are aligned.
- Decision Quality: Drive key improvements in forecast accuracy and process efficiency. Use rigorous analysis, wisdom, and judgment to make sound decisions that impact the business and its operational goals.
- Process Management: Act as a key player in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals. Be responsible for defining and optimizing the forecasting process itself.
- Dealing with Ambiguity: Lead the demand planning process in a dynamic environment, making informed decisions and acting effectively even when you don’t have all the information. Comfortably handle risk and uncertainty and guide others through it.
- Developing Others: Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices. Be a resource for others, helping to improve their functional and technical skills.
Your profile
- At least 2+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, with a proven track record of improving forecast accuracy in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (required).
- Experience in the supplement, aromatherapy, cosmetics, wellness, or a similar product-driven environment is a plus.
- Expertise translating forecasts into efficient operations, aligning with key stakeholders, and ensuring products are available at the right time without overstock or shortages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Confidence working with ERP systems like Odoo, SAP, Oracle and strong proficiency with forecasting and inventory planning tools.
