The Pictsweet Company is a fourth-generation family-owned frozen vegetable producer established in 1945. This Financial Analyst joins the Accounting/Finance Team at the Corporate Headquarters in Bells, TN. The role supports the organization’s financial operations through evaluation, interpretation, and communication of financial information that informs business decisions. It partners across the organization to maintain financial-record integrity, enhance reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations. It also contributes to planning initiatives, audit activities, and continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
• Ensure financial budgets are prepared accurately and on time, with balances supported.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Support financial and fixed-assets reporting with other professionals.
• Analyze financial statements and answer management questions about complex transactions.
• Prepare budget schedules and reports for budgeting and forecasting.
• Improve business reporting as needs change.
• Prepare reports and journal entries for monthly and year-end close.
• Provide documents for internal and external audits.
• Work with account owners to resolve reconciliation items.
• Prepare property-tax returns across jurisdictions and ensure timely payments.
• Check assessed property values with jurisdictions and assist with property-tax audits.
Work environment: Office environment; limited travel may be required. Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Prior public accounting, financial reporting, or general-ledger accounting experience required; FP&A preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA a plus. Proficiency with accounting systems and analyzing large amounts of data; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
