Job Responsibilities
Assist the Supply Chain Manager in developing and implementing inventory planning strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Manage and drive various supply chain projects.
Analyze historical sales data and sales forecasts to determine optimal inventory levels and ensure product availability.
Monitor and track inventory levels and sales performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Co-ordinate with frontline supervisors to maintain good productivity and quality and identify areas for process improvements.
Conduct trouble shooting and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
Maintain effective communication with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
5 years or above proven experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.
Proficiency in inventory management software and tools, such as ERP systems, demand-planning software, and data-analysis tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
Thorough understanding of inventory-control principles and process improvement.
