Food Impact Partners is exclusively partnered with an innovative ingredients company, to appoint a EU-based Board Member to help support its expansion into Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to support and influence a company using fermentation technology to produce sustainable, affordable plant-based ingredients.
Time Commitment: 20 hours a quarter
Ideal Profile:
- Senior executive experience with market leaders in the food ingredient sector.
- Previous Board or advisory experience with early-stage or scaling food ingredient companies.
- Deep understanding of the supply chain, customer preferences and industrial manufacturing for food ingredients.
- Commercially astute with a strong grasp of corporate development and strategic partnerships.
- Established European network, with the ability to open doors to commercial or capital opportunities.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, and ethical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level strategic advice and guidance to the CEO and executive leadership team on growth, performance, and risk.
- Advise on market expansion strategy, channel development and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to Board-level decisions on growth milestones, risk management, and exit strategy planning.
- Offer sector-specific insight on regulatory, commercial, and technological developments within food ingredients.
- Act as a brand ambassador and advocate for the company’s purpose, values, and long-term vision.
