Launched in 2021, our chef-crafted veggie burgers are available nationally in about 6,000 retail doors including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Kroger, and Albertsons/Safeway. As we expand to new categories with our innovation, we’re on the fast track for exponential growth and looking forward to being a power player in bringing real food and real ingredients to more households.
We are experiencing tremendous growth and looking for a Marketing go-getter to join this rocket ship. As the Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with our Head of Marketing and Creative Designer to build first-class brand, content, trade shows and community experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to take hands on ownership of all marketing support as we continue to grow.
Location: US Remote (Denver/Boulder, CO area based preferred)
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Marketing Responsibilities:
Organic Social:
4-5 weekly posts
Managing DMs, comments, community management
Engage with other brands and creators
Coordinate and plan monthly giveaways
Paid Social
Launch paid social campaigns to support retail launches
Work with designer and Head of Marketing on creative assets
Manage audience targeting, A/B test creative and performance tracking
Monitor performance and budgets daily
Content Creation:
Master the Actual Veggies voice and develop engaging written, photo, and video content across Photoshoots, Recipes, Newsletters.
Influencer:
Assist in planning and launching influencer campaigns
Influencer outreach
Managing contracts and payments
Coordinate influencer gifting programs
Identify and manage online communities
Events
Sales/Marketing overlap:
Setting up and managing demos
Coordinating details and logistics for distributor shows
Manage and execute digital coupons
Maintain Promo/Marketing Google calendar with major events and key account retailer/distributor promos.
own and update various platforms such as 1WS, IX-One (Rivir), BrandBank, etc.
Administrative:
Organize and update files as needed (sell sheets, trackers, spec sheets, price sheets, etc)
Organize a suite of Google Docs to keep a streamlined workflow inter-departmentally.
Send coupons and other small items out to brokers, etc, as needed.
Maintain calendar of key retailer promotions and events.
Own and update various platforms such as 1WS, IX-One (Rivir), BrandBank, etc.
Assist with updating sales decks as gathering assets accordingly.
Qualifications:
BA or College Degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Journalism, Communication or related
1-3 years relevant experience at a startup Food & Beverage company strongly preferred
Great communication skills in both spoken and written form
Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills with great attention to detail
Deep curiosity, eager to learn & grow, and ability to thrive in a small, agile team environment
Proven proficiency with all social media platforms; proven ability to use platform features and build community for IG and TikTok
Design background and experience with Adobe / Illustrator preferred
Existing influencer relationships and prior experience working with influencers preferred
Highly collaborative, curious and open to feedback
Highly motivated, always responsive, and has a go-getter / athlete mentality
Proactive & start-up mentality: can independently think about ways to grow our audience and customers; has the ability to figure things out and navigate ambiguity
Travel may be required occasionally but no more than 20%
