Head of Operations - incl. purchasing (Berlin)
Every is building the default way to eat better during the week. We’re a DTC food company with a subscription model, growing (doubling) year over year, and we believe we can keep doing so for quite some time. We don’t do retail — we build our own channel, our own customer relationship, and our own operating system.
Ops is one of the core levers to make that growth happen without breaking the business.
That’s why we’re looking for a Head of Operations to build the next-stage supply chain and last-mile machine with us.
What you’ll own
End-to-end supply chain from producers → warehouses/hubs → customers
Last-mile excellence across outsourced 3PLs and warehouses
Rollout of local delivery hubs as we scale
1 hub today (Berlin)
+2 next year likely
up to ~15 hubs in the years after
Procurement for culinary product + packaging
Culinary designs, Ops negotiates and buys
Forecasting & S&OP cadence (with Marketing, Finance, DP, Culinary)
Ops tooling and systems evolution in tight partnership with Tech
HACCP documentation and compliance across all physical touch points
Leading and developing our ops team (last mile + supply chain)
What success looks like (12–24 months)
Systems in place to double volume in 2026 and 2027 without delivery/quality issues
Delivery experience improves from “OK” to “great”
Hub launches are predictable and compounding
Procurement becomes a margin + reliability lever
Demand planning becomes real, not reactive
Ops stack evolves from “works” to “state-of-the-art”
HACCP runs cleanly across nodes and partners
What we’re looking for
8+ years in senior ops / supply chain roles in FMCG, food, or DTC physical products
Proven scaling of a physical operation 3–10× (volume + complexity)
Strong procurement / negotiation background (ingredients and/or packaging)
Experience managing outsourced partners with SLAs and improvement loops
Solid forecasting / demand planning track record
Systems builder who partners well with engineering
Hands-on leader who grows teams
Comfortable in high-growth ambiguity and fast decision cycles
Nice-to-haves: frozen/chilled exposure, multi-hub networks, strong ops-finance intuition, prior HACCP/audit exposure.
