About the Role
We are currently seeking a Temporary Lab Technician to cover a maternity leave replacement within our R&D department. This is a junior-level, short-term opportunity ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting while contributing to the smooth operation of our research processes.
Reporting directly to the R&D Scientific Lead, this is a full-time, on-site position involving routine tasks performed in strictly sterile conditions; yet, it demands exceptional precision, thoroughness, and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of experiments and lab operations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance within the laboratory.
- Ensure proper documentation and labeling of materials.
- Perform routine lab tasks such as media preparation, equipment cleaning, and data logging.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sterile tissue culture is a significant advantage.
- B.Sc in Plant Science, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong focus and ability to perform repetitive tasks with care.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Availability to work full-time on-site at the site in Misgav Industrial Zone (Teraydon).
