Job Description- Lab technician
Responsibilities:
• Support the work in the company's lab (media preparation, sample preparation, cell line
maintenance, etc.)
• Assist in executing scientific experiments
• Support other work across the company
• Work according to the company’s SOPs and policies
• Communicate efficiently challenges, progress and observations
• Being proactive and initiative to support the company’s goals
• Train colleagues
Requirements:
• BSc or equivalent (or towards completion of) in life science, food sciences, or any other related
discipline
• Competent in understanding and following protocols and procedures
• Capable of working independently
• Ability to easily adopt changes
• Excellent organization skills
• Experience in aseptic work, preferably with plant cell cultures- advantage
• Strong communication skills, scientifically and generally
• Self-learner, self-motivated and passionate about the field
• Resourceful, resilient, and agile scientist with a “can-do” attitude
• High-performing team player
