Fermata is expanding in the Netherlands and we’re looking for a hands-on Agronomist / Scout to work directly with greenhouse growers and support the adoption of our AI-based crop monitoring platform. This is a field-based, client-facing role with regular travel across the Netherlands.
What You’ll Do
Visit greenhouse sites and support onboarding of Fermata’s AI solution
Work closely with growers to integrate the platform into daily crop management
Provide agronomic insight on pests and diseases in tomato, cucumber, and pepper crops
Validate AI detections and share structured feedback with our Product & AI teams
Build strong relationships and understand growers’ needs and pain points
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Agronomy / Horticulture / Plant Science
3–5+ years of greenhouse experience
Experience in a customer-facing, advisory, or Customer Success role
Practical knowledge of protected cultivation pests & diseases
Strong communication skills with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
Fluent in Dutch and English
Comfortable with travel and working directly with growers
