We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager, to oversee our core technology. In this role, you will lead the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure across our facilities, including facility set up and physical security systems. Additionally, you will own the entire lifecycle of IT procurement, vendor relations, application maintenance, and digital asset management, while supervising local IT staff to ensure exceptional support for all employees.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic IT Infrastructure and Operations
End-to-End Management: Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, document, and optimize all network, telephony, server, storage, and cloud device hardware and software to meet current and future business goals.
Facility Readiness: Lead the end-to-end IT setup for new and current facilities, including structured cabling, server room design, and hardware deployment.
Specialized Networking and Security: Design and optimize high-density wireless networks tailored for Distribution Centers/Warehouses and manage the deployment of IP-based CCTV networks.
Risk and Mitigation: Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, and define critical paths to ensure business continuity.
Headquarters and Intranet Alignment: Manage the company’s intranet (KWP) and coordinate directly with global headquarters regarding system migrations and broader IT-related operations.
Hands-on Support, Systems Maintenance and Applications
Employee Support: Provide hands-on support for employees, including remote users, and oversee daily IT operations with the assistance of the IT helpdesk staff in each facility.
Software Lifecycle Management: Manage upgrades, performance tuning, functionality enhancements, security, data validation, and general maintenance of application software and operating systems.
Troubleshooting: Rapidly resolve server and software-related problems, ensuring user issues relative to all corporate software are handled in a timely manner.
Escalation Management: Partner and work with external IT solutions providers for critical issues or advanced functions that cannot be supported internally.
Purchasing, Asset Management and Governance
IT Procurement: Manage the evaluation, sourcing, and purchasing of all IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, switches, printers, and mobile devices).
Asset and License Tracking: Maintain local hardware inventory, software licenses, and all systems documentation (such as checklists, procedures, playlists, and warranty information).
Account Management: Act as the primary administrator for ISPs, internet domain registrations, and corporate SaaS accounts (e.g., Zoom, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365).
Leadership and Project Execution
Team Supervision: Mentor and provide clear operational direction to IT staff located across each facility.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with and execute ad-hoc IT operations-related projects assigned by leadership.
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Bilingual skills in Korean required.
5+ years’ experience in network administration, information systems and management of information systems.
Experience with or knowledge of operating systems (Outlook 365, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), server, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.
Strong understanding of network protocols, VLANs, routing, and telephony systems.
Proven experience deploying wireless networks in warehouses or distribution center environments
Experience with server administration, storage systems and cloud device integration.
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of IT to the business.
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work and excel within a faced paced, dynamic work environment.
This is a fully on-site position in our Buena Park office. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
