The Role: The Computational Biology Intern/Thesis Student will work on a metabolic modelling project, focused on model reconstruction and curation or data integration and analysis to inform metabolic engineering and process optimization strategies. Project scope can be tailored based on experience and interests.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree combining data science/coding and biology (e.g. computational biology, bioinformatics, bioengineering with comp bio focus)
- - Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within the last year), available full-time for at least three months, based in Copenhagen
- - Coding experience in R and/or Python
- - Familiarity with metabolic modelling
- - Strong attention to detail; able to work independently and cross-functionally with wet- and dry-lab teams
