We’re looking for a digitally fluent, creative, and detail-driven Marketing Specialist to join our small but mighty marketing team. This role is perfect for someone with a few years of experience who’s ready to take ownership across key digital channels and grow quickly within a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Own day-to-day execution across social media publishing, community engagement, email marketing, and website updates (CMS)
Manage content calendars, scheduling, and performance tracking for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Support email campaigns from start to finish—copywriting, layout, segmentation, and sends
Lead community management and customer engagement via social media and the customer service inbox
Contribute to content creation (social posts, Stories, short-form video) that reflects a fresh and compelling brand voice
Monitor channel performance and surface insights to inform strategy and iteration
Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and customer experience teams
Report to the Head of Marketing
Who You Are
2–4 years of hands-on experience in digital or social media marketing
Confident writer and visual thinker with a sharp eye for brand tone and aesthetics
Fluent in Instagram, TikTok, and up-and-coming platforms—always watching the trends
Organized and proactive—you’re a self-starter that thrives in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
Skilled with tools like Klaviyo, Web CMS, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics (or eager to learn fast)
Passionate about storytelling, building community, and making things happen

Flexible time off
Compensation: The expected base salary range for this role (based in Alameda, CA) is $75,000 – 105,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and overall contribution to the role.
Additional Information & Requirements
This is a full-time role based in the Bay Area with a minimum 3-day onsite requirement at our headquarters in Alameda, CA. We are only considering local candidates at this time.
