Work Shift: Day Pay Type: Salary Hourly Rate (if applicable): N/A Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): $67,800.00 - $88,200.00 JOB OVERVIEW: Works directly with manufacturing plant partners analyze complex business problems and recommend solutions. Provides business expertise in identifying, evaluating, and modeling operating and production costs. Works directly with corporate and plant management to drive business solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develops and maintains standard cost production models which include raw materials, labor, overhead, and packaging. Communicates with plant management and Finance personnel regarding production processes and standard cost discrepancies. Performs monthly financial closing functions for Operations Finance. This includes, but is not limited to: write-off analysis, reconcile process order variances and provide an in-depth analysis, cost center review with journal entries, and overhead cost per pound analysis. Meets regularly and provides insight to Plant Management and Planning teams. Reports and analyzes labor and overhead spending. Leads the budgeting and forecasting process for the site. Effectively communicates cost impact with cross-functional teams. Tracks progress on Cost Savings projects. Updates PLM for standard costing, assists with maintaining master data. Leads meetings to communicate performance results, collaborate team efforts, and effectively identify challenges. Provides costs analysis in support of Capital projects, Marketing programs, and production incentive programs. Provides appropriate business support, including, but not limited to, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improving reporting. Prepares audit schedules and perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as required or assigned by manager. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Finance, or Economics 3 years of business analysis experience Must have thorough knowledge of analytical techniques and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of SAP is preferred Must be able to communicate and interact effectively, both verbally and in writing with a broad spectrum of internal employees including all levels of management. Must be a proactive team player with the ability to demonstrate cooperation and initiative and work in cross-functional teams. Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision. Experience operating a computer keyboard and mouse; speaking, in person and by phone; writing; reading written reports and computer screens. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Ability to present financial data effectively to senior level contacts. Effective use of reporting tools and personal computer software (spreadsheet, database, word processing, etc.). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A PHYSICAL DEMANDS Office environment demands including frequent speaking both in person and over the phone; writing, reading files, reports and PC screen. Prolonged sitting at computer terminal. Regular vision concentration for reading and checking reports, forms and data entry. WORK ENVIRONMENT Typical office environment with low levels of noise and fumes, adequate lighting and comfortable temperature. Use of 10-Key, computer, scanner, fax.
