Nosh.bio is a Berlin-based food tech startup developing and producing alternative proteins through biomass fermentation. We’re now looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/x) who’s ready to take ownership, move fast, and make a tangible impact. If you love working hands-on, connecting the dots across strategy and execution, and thrive in a fast-paced startup - we’d love to meet you.
You’ll work closely with our Chief Growth Officer to accelerate Nosh.bio’s commercial growth and visibility. This is a dynamic role that blends strategy and execution across business development, partnerships, and marketing. You’ll lead projects, collaborate across teams, and manage a small team (currently one intern and one junior).
Key Responsibilities
Drive and execute commercial and partnership strategies in close collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities and strategic directions.
Prepare business cases, client proposals, and executive presentations that turn insights into action.
Manage key commercial projects end-to-end; from planning and coordination to delivery and results tracking.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Finance, and Communications to ensure smooth execution of growth initiatives.
Represent Nosh.bio in external meetings, conferences, and client discussions when needed.
Manage relationships with PR and marketing partners, coordinate event participation, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Your Profile
5+ years of experience in business development, strategic projects, or consulting, ideally in a fast-paced startup or innovation-driven environment.
Proven track record of leading complex projects independently, from planning to delivery.
Strong analytical skills, able to turn market insights into clear business recommendations.
Experience managing relationships with external partners or agencies (e.g., PR, marketing, or sales)
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
