🔎 Seeking Short-Term Individual Consultant for the Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN) 🔍
I-CAN is flying along. We're currently doing exciting work to connect nutrition and climate policies and strategies in Nigeria, Pakistan, Brazil, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, and Somalia. We're publishing additional findings and recommendations from Kenya and Cambodia. And we're finalising some interesting insights into integrated financing and investments.
Aside from all that, we're setting ourselves up for long-term success: wrapping up an existing grant and reporting on our progress to date; formalising some of our key governance structures; and raising funds for the next chapter.
With all that to keep us (very!) busy, we're looking for an extra pair of hands to work with us on a short-term basis from March to June. We're looking for an individual consultant with knowledge of food systems, climate, and nutrition, and experience working on multi-stakeholder initiatives with UN partners. Experience in donor management and resource mobilisation is also essential.
We're opening this up to any location, with a slight preference for a location with a GAIN office, Rome, or other locations close to European time zone. But do have a look at the evaluation criteria and please only apply if you are confident that you meet them.
All the detail is in the RFP attached, but a final note: new funding could mean new roles being created post-June, to which the selected consultant would likely be eligible to apply.
