The Opportunity: Director of Process DevelopmentTo steer our next frontier of scientific discovery, we are seeking an experienced Director of Process Development to join our R&D leadership team. Reporting directly to the VP of R&D, you will mentor a world-class group of scientists, lead bioreactor process development using DoE approaches, optimize yields and quality, drive tech-transfer and scale-up execution, and support regulatory filings.

Responsibilities:1. Demonstrate expertise in the field of bioreactors, strongly supported by publications, patents, and training. 2. Manage and mentor the team during the development of the production process in bioreactors using DoE approach. 3. Utilize literature information as well as technical experience to troubleshoot assays to generate reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner to accomplish assignments. 4. Improving yields and quality of the production process by reducing costs and efficiency of a bottleneck steps in the process. 5. Evaluating new technologies to improve the production process. 6. Write and review protocols, operation procedures and development reports. 7. Accurately document, critically analyze/interpret data and communicate and share information/knowledge/results clearly and effectively. 8. Transfer the process from PD to Tech-transfer, Scale-up and validation unit. 9. Support process scaleup from small scale to large scale bioreactors. 10. Support RA during the submission of new product to regulatory.
Requirements:1. Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, engineering, or a related field. 2. 5 years of experience in managing group of scientists. 3. Vast experience in planning and carrying new production process with bioreactors. 4. Highly organized and detailed. 5. Fluent Hebrew and English.
