We are very excited to welcome our new Senior Plant Cost Analyst colleague to our team! The role is based in our Budapest GBS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.
The Senior Plant Cost Analyst is a partner to the plant managers within the assigned area. Will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and provide clear insights into the Operations performance and identify opportunities for additional improvement and productivity. Constantly looking for a way to improve and further develop our internal analytical tools.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide Financial Support to Plant Manager and local leadership.
- Responsible for analysis on Product Cost Development, Unit Cost Analysis and Productivity.
- Coordinate the yearly budget process on plant with focus on cost, capacity and explaining impact to final products throughout budget process.
- Continuously focus on improvement opportunities and collaboration with Plant teams to execute.
- Ensure a strong Standard Costing template with Governance of Material Master etc.
- Coordinate monthly production cost variance forecast by working closely with the Plant Manager and local leadership.
- Develop, implement, and explain KPI’s detailing plant performance with Plant Leadership. Provide detailed Monthly Plant Reporting using Global Tools in combination with plant specific analysis with plant organization.
- Support to the monthly Integrated Operations review.
- Assist the plant in meeting productivity targets.
- Actively support and maintain an environment for strong internal controls.
- Participate and support the Global Plant Cost Analysis Organization in various projects (Process improvement, IT improvement tools).
- Provide Functional Training to Plant Cost Analyst Juniors.

Requirements:
- University Accounting, Finance, Economics or Engineering degree
- 3 to 7 years plant controlling in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a Manufacturing industry
- Experience in implementing / improving processes
- Strong computer/systems capability (ERP/SAP, Oracle, Business Warehouse, Office)
- Knowledge of standard costing environments preferred
- Strong communication and networking/business partner skills
