Your role
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast paced business environment; demonstrated ability to self-motivate and
manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work with a "sense of urgency".
- Demonstrated food manufacturing equipment, processing methods and systems knowledge as related to dairy manufacturing
- Ability to deliver effective taste options while solving flavor and food ingredient related issues associated
with application and processing methods.
- Problem solving skills combined with analytical ability and solid attention to detail.
- Ability to lead internal/external customer presentations with clear and effective communication
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required for working cross-functionally with flavorists, sales, category management, and marketing
- Ability to work seamlessly in both a lab and office environment and able to deliver programs on time, with excellent quality, and within budget parameters.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, formulation & project managements systems
Safety/Regulatory Training Requirements
RTK Training, Hazardous waste management, DOT Samples
Working Conditions: 80% lab/pilot plant, 20% office - This is not a remote position. 5 days a week onsite. Laboratory setting
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- B.S in Food Science would be considered (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Dairy industry. Experience in other areas of the food industry a plus.
- Knowledge of flavor application development and food (dairy) product development.
- Technical knowledge of ingredient functionality and processing equipment used in the dairy industry.
- Must be willing to taste foods containing dairy, eggs, and wheat.
