As the Key Account Sales Manager, you will work closely with our Sales Team to grow new and existing conventional grocery business. This is a fantastic opportunity to take hands on Key Account ownership of this fast-growing start-up.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Sales Development & Management
Bring in and develop sales contacts with major customers and new prospects. Sell into new accounts and expand existing accounts.
Call on and visit key accounts to ensure distribution, ordering, & programming.
Develop and manage relationships with distributors (DSD, UNFI, Kehe) and brokers
Plan & execute pricing, promo and retail marketing strategies for key accounts to drive target volume & velocity goals
Review and analyze syndicated and POS data to measure and improve item movement, SKU assortment, etc.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve performance.
Develop accurate sales forecasts, customer and channel P&L for key customers
Cross functional team collaboration
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional and marketing programs with retail customers and distributors to drive short and long term velocity growth
Collaborate with operations to provide sales projections to avoid out of stock
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience doing CPG Key Account Sales at Regional or National level.
Experienced with managing and leading UNFI/Kehe and key accounts (examples could include Sprouts, Fresh Thyme, Meijer, Kroger, regional chains)
Prior natural food or beverage startup experience preferred; experienced in navigating uncertainty and working with cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment
Proven sales leadership, communication, presentation and analytical skills
Highly motivated, resourceful, and a go-getter mentality and willing to do what it takes to get things done
Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve their best performance
Clean driver's license, reliable car, and able to do sales in the field / travel 20% of the time.
Proficient in Google Suites (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail), Excel, Microsoft Word.
