Business Development Associate, US
ClonBio Foods is seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial Business Development Associate to grow our protein and fiber platforms. Backed by our applications technology team and experienced sales colleagues, you will drive awareness, build strategic partnerships, and grow sales in high-potential applications.

Key Responsibilities
Drive business development with a targeted, entrepreneurial approach.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consultative selling.
Conduct regular prospecting and cold outreach.
Leverage distributor networks, trade shows, and marketing leads.
Develop and manage strategic customer relationships, including top-to-top engagement.
Create and execute account plans to drive growth.
Use CRM tools to manage the sales funnel and close deals.
Analyze performance and adjust strategies to meet goals.
Qualifications
3+ years of food ingredient sales and/or +3 years in food technical customer interface role; college degree in a scientific area with food science or chemistry preferred, advanced degree a plus.
Strong track record of exceeding targets and developing relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results oriented.
A genuine passion for the food nutrition business.

Location
Remote, U.S.-based, with preference for the Greater Chicago area. Expect ~50% travel to engage with customers and prospects.
