The Role
As a Food Scientist Intern, you'll contribute to enhancing the overall sensory profile, including aroma and flavor, of our ChoViva products and a new innovative ingredient under development, while assisting with ingredient preparation and prototype development. Next openings: September 2026; November 2026 (Flavor & Analytics team); December 2026 (Product Development team).
Responsibilities
Support recipe, product, and/or flavor development of current ChoViva products or a new ingredient currently under development.
Plan and carry out test productions, including raw material preparation.
Conduct food science analyses using tools such as rheometers, texture analyzers, refractometers, and sensory evaluation methods.
Assist in flavor analytics using GC-MS where applicable.
Document new recipes and create product prototypes in collaboration with the Sales team; assist with daily operational tasks, including packing and shipping prototypes to clients.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a similar field.
Ideally some initial experience in the food sector; passion for sustainable food and working closely with ambitious people on something meaningful.
Enthusiastic about food science and product development, willing to learn food science related analytical methods.
Self-disciplined, hands-on, proactive, and ready to take ownership.
This internship must be linked to a mandatory internship through a university and should last 6 months; thesis projects are not accepted.
