What You Will Do
The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for the overall financial leadership of the company. The CFO will provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, banking relationships, tax, risk management, and business analytics while helping guide the company's growth agenda. This executive will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and investors, translating financial insights into business decisions that drive profitable growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation. This role represents an opportunity to help shape the future of one of the most recognized veggie-forward brands in frozen foods while serving as a key architect of the company's long-term growth and value creation strategy.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Establish financial targets and key performance indicators across the business.
Develop actionable insights regarding profitability, margins, customer economics, and investment returns.
Create financial models supporting strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
Accounting & Financial Operations
Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance activities.
Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain effective internal controls and financial governance processes.
Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
Treasury & Capital Management
Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management.
Manage banking relationships and serve as the primary finance contact with lending institutions.
Oversee revolving credit facilities, cash management structures, and treasury operations.
Monitor debt compliance, reporting requirements, and lender communications.
Evaluate financing alternatives and capital allocation opportunities to support business objectives.
Develop strategies to optimize cash conversion, inventory investment, and overall balance sheet efficiency.
Business Partnership & Leadership
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to drive profitable growth, supporting customer investments, trade spend, pricing, and new product decisions.
Support integrated business planning and demand forecasting.
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance organization, driving accountability and continuous improvement through clear performance metrics.
Who You Are
You're a finance executive with progressive leadership experience in private equity-backed consumer packaged goods organizations, bringing deep treasury and capital markets expertise, from banking relationships and credit facilities to covenant reporting, cash flow, and working capital optimization, paired with the strategic judgment to guide a high-growth, complex organization. A confident communicator and collaborative leader, you build genuine partnerships across the organization and bring a hands-on, results-oriented approach to building the finance team for its next chapter of growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
MBA and/or CPA preferred.
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including significant executive-level responsibility.
Experience as CFO, SVP Finance, VP Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership role.
Experience within consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, manufacturing, or related industries.
Demonstrated success supporting organizations in high-growth, complex operating environments.
Experience presenting financial results and strategic recommendations to Boards of Directors and investors.
Tech savvy with experience in a variety of tools and systems.
