The Senior Accountant is responsible for applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") and procedures to analyze financial information; prepare accurate and timely financial reports and trial balances; ensure appropriate accounting control procedures; and assist in the preparation of our consolidated financial statements.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries as part of the month end close process
Prepare and review reconciliations of balance sheet accounts as part of the month end close process to ensure financial results of operations are accurately represented and in conformance with US GAAP
Analyze financial reports and records making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits
Preparation of account reconciliations and analysis
Assist with the preparation of monthly management reporting packages
Contribute to monthly review meetings
Ensure all accounting processes including general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations and revenue recognition are in compliance with GAAP
Assist with external audits
Assist in the implementation of new systems and continuously strive to automate manual processes
Support the Assistant Corporate Controller and Chobani’s Treasurer with special projects and workflow process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required
CPA highly preferred
5-7 years of public accounting or 7-10 private accounting experience in the areas of accounting, audit, review and write up duties
Knowledge of ERP Systems required (SAP preferred)
Analytical skills including the ability to analyze complex technical accounting requirements including US GAAP and statutory requirement
Ability to reach conclusions independently analyzing alternatives
Strong writing skills in support of analytical commentary
Strong communication skills, must be able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations
Ability to present information and communicate effectively with Senior Management
Strong interpersonal leadership skills to inspire and guide others toward goal achievement, teamwork and collaboration
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience in CPG- manufacturing environment preferred

The salary range for this full-time position is $94,000.00 - $134,500, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
