Position: Account Manager - East Coast/West Coast
Work Location & Work Model:
East Coast (Remote, preference for New Jersey or New York);
West Coast (This role is based at our office in 2131 Palomar Airport Rd # 200, Carlsbad, CA 92011. A hybrid work model is available, with a minimum of 2 in-office days per week. Monday is a core meeting day and requires in-office attendance)

Job Summary:
In this role, you will help identify and contact prospective customers and build relationships and contribute to the assessment of customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions that maximize product revenue and improves profitability. In addition to fostering existing business, you’ll be responsible for continuously canvassing for new clients within the specified territory, managing both direct accounts and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Own sales targets for the designated region, ensuring achievement of performance objectives.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies, and manage the sales budget effectively.
Execute daily sales operations, including new business development and ongoing client maintenance through regular visits and trade exhibition participation.
Analyze customer needs, client scale and purchasing habits to inform targeted business approaches.
Source and convert new client leads, building and nurturing initial business connections.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, stay updated on their new product developments and identify untapped market opportunities.
Accurately report key market and customer insights, and timely communicate new business opportunities and internal updates relevant to client organizations.
Manage customer credit terms and oversee timely payment collections.
Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food science, Nutrition, Pharma, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Business.
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
Possess valid and stable work authorization to work long-term in the U.S.
Effective and persuasive communication and presentation skills that sells benefits and creates value.
Knowledge and experience with CRM/ERP systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $120,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
