Role: Accountant (Accounts Receivable) — Finance team, based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Job Summary
This role owns end-to-end responsibility for the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, from invoicing to collection, reconciliation, and audit support, with a strong focus on month-end/year-end closing quality and audit readiness across international entities.
Responsibilities
• Execute and maintain full-cycle controlling of the AR process, from transaction initiation to final ledger entry
• Perform and validate customer invoicing operations for international entities
• Execute and verify daily bank reconciliations for customer and PSP payments
• Respond to customer requests and billing inquiries
• Manage bad debt allocations, provisioning, and write-offs
• Direct the dunning and collection flow to minimize exposure
• Participate in month-end closing tasks with Tech, Finance, and Business Controlling teams
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, with emphasis on Payment Service Provider (PSP) accounts
• Monitor cash balances and transactional pipelines across multiple PSPs
Requirements
• Proven track record designing and executing process improvements and finance projects
• Significant experience in Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, and Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• International finance team experience is a plus (transactions across 21 countries)
• Strong proficiency with modern cloud systems and ERP architectures
• Exceptional attention to detail balanced with strategic perspective
• Full professional proficiency in English; other languages a plus
